I must say,
it is very fast delivery.
I used my Cartune today to tune carbs in my Kawasaki Zephyr 750.
Carbtune
was very easy to use and your intructions for using it was very
practical.
Now my Zephyr sounds like motorcycle should sounds.

rejetting, setting the valves, etc.
I thought I'd just let you know I found the Carbtune
really quick and easy to use and while I haven't used
mercury version, I can't imagine having to put up with

on my 2002 Honda Shadow VT1100C. Having past experience with synchro
gauges of the vacuum dial/needle type, I was very pleased to see
how steady and easy to read your carbtune system worked. The operation

it would be good. i plugged the carbtune on her and after 2 minutes.

I used the Carbtune today for the first time.( never synched multiple
carbs before ) I set the carbtune up per your instructions and followed
the Kawasaki manual to adjust the carbs.
The whole job only took a matter of a few minutes and the bike runs
like new again.

Hi John,
I tuned my carbs last month and have been meaning to thank you for
making a good product. … …..after 10 years of no tuning
it runs MUCH smoother, and with my zero experience it took under
1 hr, including removing/replacing my gas
tank. Now I can tune whenever I suspect a problem and it won't cost
me
a dime. I've recommended the Carbtune to several friends. Thanks!

KIT I BOUGHT FROM YOU IT WAS REALLY EASY TO USE. I HAVE JUST TUNED
UP MY 1979 HONDA CB650Z SOHC FOUR, THE PREVIOUS TWO OWNERS HAD NOT
HAD THE CARBS TUNED SO I HAD SOME ORIGINAL SETTINGS TO LOOK AT BEFORE
ANY ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE. NO, 1 CYLINDER WAS A GOOD MATCH TO THE
MASTER NO. 2. BUT NO. 3 & NO. 4 WERE WELL OUT OF SYNCH. IT TOOK
ME ABOUT 10 MINS. TO GET EVERYTHING BALANCED AND NOW THE ENGINE
RUNS LIKE A SWISS WATCH. THANKS AGAIN FOR A
GREAT PRODUCT I SHALL BE TELLING ALL MY FRIENDS ALSO.

G'day John,
Just a short note to let you know that I am very impressed with
the Carbtune
11, a first rate product, well constructed with clear and concise
instructions.
I found them very beneficial in synching the throttle bodies on
my fuel
injected '97 Moto Guzzi California 1100i.
A substantial difference was noted in better pick up and smoother
operation.
These also proved excellent on synching the carbs on my '75 Norton
Commando
which has always been notoriously difficult to set up properly…..
…..Thankyou once again for a first rate product and your very
efficient
service.
I will recommend these to everybody, they even worked well in setting
the
carbs on a friends Ser.1 XJ6, much to his surprise!

Okay - it has taken me forever since my order, but I *did* say I
would
let you know how the Carbtune-II worked.
It works superbly. I love it. It is the best vacuum synch tool for
novices and the easiest to use. It is accurate and the damping works
just fine. I've used it to synch both a Yamaha XS650 and a Yamaha
XS1100.
I'm very glad I did not buy mercury guages or some cheap dials and
am
instead glad I bought the Carbtune-II for a very good price.
Again, the quality is superb and the tool is easy to use. Your product
is a "must-have," especially when working with previously
owned motorcycles.

Dear John,
I know that I told you that I was going to wait until this weekend
to synch the carbs on my '98 Honda Pacific Coast. However, when
I got the CarbTune II home last night, I just couldn't wait! You
see, I have asked 3 different dealers if they thought my carbs needed
to be synchronized. I would go on to describe the symptoms I
have been experiencing (i.e.. poor starting, long warm-up time before
there is some idle smoothness, lack of linear throttle response
and a subtle "hammering" feeling even at 4,000 - 7,000
rpms.) All 3 dealership said that they did not think synchronizing
would help since the bike was so new...1998 with less than 12,000
miles...but, they would be glad to charge me $48/hour to remove
the plastic panels and see what was what and proceed to charge more
from there.
After I got the plastic body panels off and accessed the carburetors,
I hooked up your very well-made CarbTune II and took a look. There
was approximately 2cm+ of difference between the carbs! I spent
some time adjusting the carbs as you describe in the well-thought
out owner's manual and I got the idle and 3000 rpm synch within
1 or 2 of the gradients on the scale. I re-checked the balance with
the air cleaner and K&N filter in place and set then idle to
factory spec. The idle is smooth on this dual-pin crankshafted 800cc
V-twin. A nice little staccato effect...like when it was new. I
went for a short test drive about midnight because the motor was
warmed to operating temp. The throttle response was linear and predictable,
again. The slight "hammering" feeling was greatly reduced
to "normal" at around 3,000 rpm. Just a real noticeable
difference before and after..
Then, this morning, I cold started the PC and she fired up quickly
and I was able to turn off the choke much sooner than prior to the
CarbTune II synchronization. She has a smooth idle that does not
require adjusting once she gets to operating temp! Smooth throttle
response after only minutes of running is impressive. I can
not wait to take her for a long ride this weekend and really get
re-acquainted with the motorcycle that I originally bought. I may
spin by those dealerships and show them how the CarbTune II resolved
my bike's symptoms. I know that I will save a good amount of money
over time because I only had to pay the price of admission one time
for the CarbTune II verses multiple repair order payments to the
dealership whenever or if ever the symptoms returned. Now, for less
than the amount that a dealership wanted to charge me to synch my
carbs one time( $100+), I can check and/or balance my own carbs
whenever I think that my performance is deteriorating! Thank you

I just wanted to let you know that I recieved my carb tune 8 days
after you shipped it. Not bad all the way to southern California.
I tried it out right away. I have never attempted any maintenance
on a street bike before and I must say that it was very easy (Thanks
to some good instructions on the ZR7 web site). Even though my bike
only had about 2500 miles on it, the carbs needed to be re- sychronized.
I runs much
smoother now and the throttle respose is much better. No more paying
the mechanic to do something that I can do. Thanks for a great product!
