Just to let you know... since I've received my Carbtune2 (a few

I'm in Canada perhaps you remember).... I've been VERY happy with
it. Works
like a charm. I've been using it to sync my VFR800 and all my buddies

VFR800's. (The VFR needs its start valves sync'd).

I would like to let you know that We recieved the Carbtune II today.

The Carbtune worked great.
I ordered the Carbtune II because the carborators on my 1999 Honda
Magna were
out of sync, resulting in the engine misfireing at idle or just
above idle. I
had taken the bike to 2 shops for the Carborators to be syncronized.
Neither one of the two shops was able to accuratly sync the carborators.
Both
shops were using dial type gauges. Both of the shops that I have
delt with
told me that they were in sync and that the bike was running as
well as it
possible could. Knowing differently I began researching carborator
syncornization tools. After hearing about you at the Magna Riders
Association and reading several great postings about you and your
products I
decided to order the carbtune II. I would like to say that after
recieving
and using the Cartune II the bike is now running the best it possible
can
with no misfiring. After syncronizing the Carborators, the Magna
runs
smoother than I have ever heard one run. thank you very much.

I receive my new gauge on the 9/18/2000, (took 3 working days) and
I use them to adjust the carbs on my 1998 Honda Valkyrie yesterday
9/19/2000 and what a snap it was to use them since I bought two

smoother on low throttle openings. We both own a Bandit 1200.

I ordered the Carbtune over the Internet on the 3th of July and
received the unit yesterday July 11th at around 3:00PM US eastern
time. It took exactly a week for the Carbtune to get here from UK.
Anyway, I immediately put the unit to work on my older bike 90 GSX-R
750. It was my first time synchronizing the carburetors of this
motorcycle. Carbtune looks to be a good quality unit and it was
really easy to use. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I received the Carbtune II on Monday, the 19th. In good shape and
all, the instructions were easy to understand.
That should help your predictions as to when the US customers should
expect their shipments.
That said, let me get personal a bit and say you guys built a hell
of a thing here. I have tried to get that "purrrfect"
match with mercury sticks and vacuum gauges. I just couldn't do
it, I'm that pain in the butt guy who has the most exacting tolerances
I can get: Your Carbtune II did just that; the motorcycle is a 1984
Yamaha Venture Royale (1200 cc) with under 6 thousand miles on it.
Needless to say I baby it. This bike has NEVER been as smooth and
vibration-free as it is now.
Smoooth, purrrrfect, sweeet. Those were the words my son used to
describe the change in performance and perfection your instrument
made.
In the USA, we have a saying that applies here: "YOU DA MAN".

The balancer arrived in this morning's post and the YZF Thundercat
was tuned by 2.00pm. It was miles out and had been
tuned with gauges last time. The balancer was easy to
use with the pistons remaining stable throughout the
rev range yet responding quickly to throttle linkage

and Synced them with the carbtune. Much easier than with a mercury

in 1982 I bought one of your carb tuning devices. Since then it
has worked faultlessly. It has been kicked around the garage and
generally abused but has continued to work. Calculation has shown
that it has saved me at least £1100.00 in servicing costs.
You should be ashamed of yourself, selling products that:
1). Do as advertised
2). Work for 18 years
3). Show up the generally shoddy nature of other
motorcycling products.
I, of course, will not be buying another one of your Carbtunes as
this one is still working.

John...it has been 1 or 2 months now since I received my Carbtune
II and I
finally got to use it yesterday. Now, I am a guy who has never attempted
to
sync my carbs as I was afraid I would really mess it up. Well, with
your
unit I was able to impress myself with the fact that "I did
it!!!" The unit
is so easy to set up, read the gauges, and it made a huge difference
in how
my bike runs. My carbs were so out of sync, I can't believe it ran.
My
numbers on my 4 carb bike ranged from 8 to 38...
I was impressed at the low fluctuation of the gauges which make
it really
easy to get the same reading on all carbs during adjustment. Thanks
again
and I did pass my findings on to many cycle friends.

I’m happy to say that the Carbtune II vacuum gauges have already
paid
for themselves, and I’m home and dry from now on in.
As you know, I’m in Thailand. Pattaya to be exact. And today’s
carb tune
up invovled a trio of Honda rental bikes. A CBR900RR, CBR 400, and
CB400
Super 4.
The owner has tried in vain to get the bikes running smoothly, but
every
Thai bike shop he’s been to has insisted that they have done
everything
possible, but there’s no hope.
I took the offending bikes for a spin and diagnosed nothing more
than
wonky carburation, and misbalance, and now that I had my new vacuum
gauges,
I’d be more than happy to give it a go.
Well, I’ve just dropped the bikes back to him, and they’re
running smooth
as silk. ...........................................
The carbtune II gauges were a breeze to use, and very easy to read.

Sorry for so much waffle, but I’ve never owned a such a cost
effective
tool before, and I guess that I just wanted to say thanks very much
for
not only a wonderful product, but also for getting it to me out

Bought one Jan 2000 for FJ1200.
Easy to use and made a noticeable difference to the quality, and
sound, of tickover.
Not had chance to ride bike yet, (too wet, salty etc.), but I have
no doubt that the quality of responsiveness will have improved.

john,used your carbtune for the first time on a mercury 4 stroke
outboard and it worked great. The mercury service rep. and his boss
were at our dealership the same day and seemed interested in the
carbtune,evidently mercury has looked into a digital guage for about
500$. suspect you might be getting some inquiries from the people
at mercury. also will probably be getting some orders from our other
dealership and mechanics in both dealerships.:)

the
product and would recommend to any motorcycle owner that does his
own
maintenance. Many good words filled my mind after running the three
carburetors on the old Yamaha XS750 SE motorcycle (Triple). I followed
the instructions in your enclosed book and ,burned my fingers a
few
times, it was worth it, though, and then noticed immediately how
the
engine had a more even sound. Opening throttle I immediately noticed
a
better, even exhaust sound from the pipes. Next a test ride proved
beyond
a doubt, how even, smooth, and a noticeable low torque pull in slow
speed/high gear accelerations that I had lost. After rebuilding
my
carburetors, I simply could not get the motor to run just right
and of
course it was the carb balance/tuning.
Most satisfied customer over here in Monroe, Louisiana.
Anybody that has a motorcycle with more than one cylinder should
have one
