Subject: CarbTune II - Excellent Product !
Hi All,
Well, what can I say, nice fast delivery. Ordered the CarbTune II
on Tuesday (12.15pm 30 Dec) and it arrived today (Wednesday) (31
Dec), super fast delivery. After opening the package I set about
reading the instructions that came with the product. After setting
it all up I proceeded to fix it to my carbs on my GPZ400R (ZX400D2,
1986 model).
First I started the bike up and let it tick over for a few minutes
to warm it up. Removed the seat and tank, turned the tank 90 degrees
to the right so that I could balance it on the frame of the bike
and have access to the 3 adjusting screws on my carbs. I connected
up all the pipes and was shocked to find out how out of balance
the carbs were ! After about 35 minutes with adjusting the screws
on the carbs I managed to get all the four carbs balanced with each
other.
After puting the bike back together I took it out for a little
ride, and you know, your product has made a big improvement to the
responce of the bike, it ticks over better too ! I was well suprised
on how easy it was to do too.
I wish all products were as good as this ! I shopped around for
quotes to have the carbs balanced by local bike shops, and they
wanted to charge between £35.00 and £45.00 per hour
to do it, and said it would take about 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
The CarbTune II has saved me money already, Excellent / wonderful
product !

Recieved order this morning at 10.00 AM 23rd December. Very
quick delivery time considering the time of year and the Christmas
postal rush.
I am extremely pleased with the equipment and also with the
instructions which are very clear and concise.
I used the unit this afternoon to set up the carbs on my bike, a
92
CBR600 it took about an hour but I expect to be able to do it a
lot
quicker as I become more familiar with the equipment. The results
are astonishing and the bike is running smoother than it has done
in
a long time. I intend to permanently install vacuum tubes on the
bike and will contact you in the near future for the necessary tubes
and adaptors.

just to let you know that I received the Carbtune on my door step
at
8.00am in the morning just 7 business days after I placed the order.
Not
bad for the Christmas period.
Initial setup took only a few minutes and after my tune-up syncronising
the carbs only took a few minutes.
Carbtune is simple to use & works great.
The Toolpouch is also great to keep everything together and very
well
made.

Hello,
I just received the case for my Carbtune that I had purchased in
the spring.
I have used it and am very happy with my purchase. I have sync'd
my Bikes a few times
and it is as easy as your instructions say it is. You may want to
consider selling
the adjustment wrenches as another item as they were hard to locate.
Again thank you for the quick shipment and great product....by the
way to have a shop sync your carb's it about
$75-$100 USD The Carbtune is well worth the cost.

Good Morning to you John Morgan,
the postman brought the Carbtune today, the 18th of nov, a little
late, but I believe there were postal strikes in the UK. I don't
know if this affected you? The thingummyjig is great. The instructions
v clear. It would have been good if the tubes were pre-cut. I don't
know how much that would affect the price, as that was a major factor
in my choice, along with the reviews of course. I've a Kwaki z650
'77 and it was a piece of cake to tune it up. The carbs were way
out and the difference was amazing, really smooth now. .......
Thanks again for a product that matches up to it's description,
that does it's job extremely well and that is not difficult to operate.

Hi John,
The Carbtune is awesome. I used it today on my old 1980 KZ 750.
It had just come back from the shop where the guy balanced carbs
with "state of the art" digital gauges. I was amazed to
see as much as 6mm spread from high to low. 15 min adjusting using
the Carbtune and all 4 were bang on. The bike has never run smoother.
The difference just pulling out of the driveway is noticible. No
more fuzzy mirrors on the highway. Pity I gotta put it into Winter
storage next week.

Thank you for your prompt response. In fact I received the adapters
in the post yesterday (Monday) which allowed me to balance the carbs
and screw the bike back together yesterday evening. I’ll get to
road test the thing today and see if the balancing has made any
difference. The cylinders were about 4mm/Hg different when I started.
Now they are pretty much bang on.
I’m very happy with the instrument. It really is a doddle to use

We received our order next day, good product which has proved itself
to do more than bikes; we use it on a lot of multi carb engines,
with the adapters supplied we've never been stuck yet, great tool(mut's
nuts) in fact the box is worn out, so we need something else to
store it in that'll take the handling of being used so frequently;;;
