The Carbtune arrived today in the mail (9/30/03) , as you can see
by the date of your e-mail it was 5 days from ship to delivery ,
with two of the days being weekend (sat. and sunday) this is outstanding
service . ordered on the web site on a wednesday night and
have it in my possesion for use in less than 1 week ! Great job
on your part ! Some friends of mine at work asked me what
kind I bought , when I told them a Morgan , one guys eyes lit up
and he said good they are the best !

This thing is AMAZING !
assembled it just like the easy to use directions and had the Tiger
purring like a kitten in 30 minutes from the time I opened the package
. This is the most well designed tool I have ever used on the bike
. I love the ty wrap for the handlegrip IT WORKS ! The Tiger was
so responsive to adjustments and never at any RPM did they flutter
.

I finally got to synch my carbs this past weekend with the Morgan
Carb Tune II (2 cylinder model) that I purchased a month ago.
My bike now runs much smoother. The unit is very well constructed
and easy to use. The instructions were exceptionally clear
and informative. I especially like not having to worry about
messing with mercury as you must with other such carb synchronizers.
I highly recommend the Morgan Carb Tune II.

Dear John,
The guages arrived this morning at 9:30 AM (Friday 19th Sept) after
me only completing your online order on Wednesday night, so I don't
think they could have gotten here any quicker by human agency!
I've already used them on my FJ1200 and the difference is
amazing, much smoother from tickover right through the rev range,
especially as I had an annoying vibration at 3000-3500 rpm corresponding
to about 50-55mph where I spend quite a lot of my riding time.

Hi John,
The Carbtune turned up on either Tues or Weds (I was away) so a
good delivery service. I've just been using it today on both my
750 Suzuki and the Pinto engine with twin 45 webers.
I've had the bike for 10 years and have not balanced the carbs once,
remarkably the balance was perfect on them so I didn't have to adjust
anything!
I then fitted them to the car with the pinto and twin 45s and the
carbtune worked great - the carbs were not balanced, but after 10
mins work all was set up perfectly. There was enough vacuum so you
can recommend these to other customers with a similar set up. ..........

I would just like to comment that in these days it is nice to deal
with a professional company producing a professional piece of equipment,
which works as it has been described. Having used dial gauges and
BMW electronic equipment (which l had borrowed!) this equipment
is the by far easiest to use and also as accurate.

Dear John
Not another Dear John letter I am afraid so. There cannot be many
times you place an order on Thursday night Friday morning including
giving incorrect information about your credit card, then given
the chance to change it and still receive your order in the post
1st thing Tuesday morning of the following week. Then in response
to a small query get a FOC “T” piece adaptor in the post the very
next day. I have now completed balancing the carburettors on my
ST1100 and found the Carbtune II very easy to use, the hard part
being getting all of those plastics bits off the bike in one piece
to eventually gain access to those well hidden adjuster screws.
The Carbtune II works very well and I was surprised just how much
change occurred for a very small adjustment. Many thanks for an
excellent product and sales service, I will have no hesitation in
recommending it and you to others with a similar need.

I bought the Carbtune by e-order on 02 July (late O’clock) and received
it first post on 04 July – I couldn’t think how you could improve
this service at all!
My bike was idling a bit lumpy (GSXR750) so I decided that the Carbtune
was reuseable and would outweigh the cost of putting the bike in
for servicing just once.
Whilst using the Carbtune I noticed that two of the rubber diaphragms
had been ‘crimped’ by the person who had installed the Dynojet stage
1 kit prior to me buying the bike. Changed these, balanced the carbs
(first time ever – whole thing from start to finish took less than
an hour – revealed No 2 high by 5 divisions)- now she is running
sweet and purring like a pussy (was even considering sending a before
and after sound file. I cannot recommend this kit highly enough
to other users and to top it all the kit is really good quality,
(the photo’s do it no justice whatsoever). This is absolutely amazing
value for money and the service is second to none.
Once again many thanks, go and design something equally as useful
for bikers, I want something else to tinker with!

I promised to let you know how the carb tuning on my Suzuki GS's
went. I have two of these bikes: a 79 GS850 and a 79 GS550E. Synching
the carbs with the Carbtune II was a matter of minutes! Thanks to
the very good manual that came with it. It took more time to take
the fuel tank off and warm up the engine than to adjust the carbs.
Both bikes run like a dream after the carb tuning. If I had taken
them both to a shop to balance the carbs, I'm sure it would have
cost the same - if not more - money. The Carbtune II really is good
value for the money!

I have bought a Morgan carb tune kit for my BMW R75/6 and R100RS
I have got to tell you it is the best thing since sliced bread.I
was having difficulty setting up the carbs so I phoned Motor works
who advised me to buy your carbtune II and after some time and a
phone call to your good selves I have got the hang of it. Now my
R75/6 has loads of power runs beautifully and responds well when
accelerating. I am now ready to use it on the R100RS which I am
slowly getting back on the road.

The Carbtune did all I expected and on my 2001 Honda Pan European
(ST1100) the effect was considerable, the engine is running smoother
with more torque (I went for zero tolerance, difficult to achieve

I received it this morning, Saturday, (sent Friday) thank you and
of course took it straight to sort out to my misfiring Ducati. It
is an '86 750 F1 which has never run terribly well since I bought
it, despite having it 'tuned'. I have spent hours ensuring that
the carbs were clean, which was another problem since the tank was
rusty inside (since cured) and the rubbish used to accumulate in
the carbs, and trying to get it running well, but while it would
be good for a day or two, it soon went off and the plugs fouled.
Now, call me naive, but I have always thought you could get pretty
close to the right mixture / idle settings by ear and eye. I also
thought that the mixture screws for each cylinder would have approximately
the same number of turns, as would the idle screws. Wrong! Well,
I set up the Carbtune in about 2 minutes, put new plugs in, increased
the idles half a turn to make sure it WOULD idle, connected up the
Carbtune and started the bike. At this point, with one gauge
nearly off the scale and the other hardly registering at all, I
began to realise that my ear was about as useless as a chocolate
teapot! 20 minutes later, after following much the same,
patient procedures as normal, but now guided by the Carbtune, I
had a bike that was absolutely spot on. I took it for a spin and
thought I probably had an extra 10 horsepower at the wheel. It absolutely
flew! And the pickup, wow! Now of course, I could be telling this
same story if a set of Davida gauges had turned up this morning,
but not only did I not want to spent more than I had to, but the
neat, compact and light design does make the Carbtune ideal for
the job. So now I can spend more time cleaning it than tuning it!

Item received today, in perfect order, deployed immediately on ancient
BMW twin which now runs a lot smoother than it ever has since I
owned it, so easy to use its not true. Just one observation
nitrile tubes could do with being 6" longer for Boxer BMW's ,as
they were just too short to comfortably reach the low set carbs
when hung on handle bars. Brilliant piece of kit, for once the adverts
didn't stretch the truth, exemplary service and a delivery.

I have just set the bike (R1100RS) up using your balancer. Very
easy to understand and the bike was way out of balance. Really smooth

Hi John,
As you know I recieved the Carbtune ll the other day, and I finally
had a chance to use it today. I bought the carbtune because of my
disappointment with the way my dealer synched my bike. I have a
2003 BMW R1150RT which was running fine until my dealer performed
the 600 mile service and then it ran quite poorly. I brought the
bike back the next week to have them re-synch the throttle bodies
and it wasn't much better.
Now, I'm not much of a mechanic, but I figured these guys weren't
rocket scientists either, so I decided to give it a go myself. This
is why I purchased the Carbtune ll. Well, I must say, with the Carbtune
ll I did a much better job synching the bike than my mechanics did
with there fancy computer. The Carbtune ll paid for itself today,
and with only 2400 miles on the bike, it will pay for itself many
times over. Thank you.

The CarbTune arrived last Wendesday (April 9). Customs opted to
charge GST/handling (Canada only) of about $12.00 – no biggie...
I had a chance this weekend to try out the new tool, and it works
great! The tip you offer about using a screwdriver fitted with a

The order arrived Friday morning. Considering that I
only placed it late on Wednesday, I'm impressed on the speed that

The instructions are clear and easy to understand (even for

well i finally got a chance to use my carbtune the other day and
it sure
worked wonders for the way my bike was running. It was extremely
